Meet the Team

More than 25 years of experiance in real estate and 15 years in German properties, the founder and controlling sharaholder of Summit Real Estate Holdings and CEO of Summit Properties. Zohar Levy acquired control of the Summit Group in early 2003 and has since developed its business significantly through debt restructuring, listing, improving its properties by way of lease negotiations and renovations, and the acquisition of numerous office, commercial and industrial properties throughout United States and Israel. Previously, CFO of the Engel Group, developing its property activity in Europe and in North America. CPA since 1992.

Tomer Pomeranz, our CEO, brings over 15 years of business management and capital markets experience to Summit.

Before joining us, he served as Chief Investment Officer at Scailex Corporation, an international investment company listed on NASDAQ and TASE. Tomer's expertise extends to financial advisory for both private and public companies, and he co-founded a private hedge fund, where he led strategic investments, acquisitions, equity financing, debt restructuring, and debt refinancing. He holds an MBA in finance from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in Economics and Management from Ben Gurion University.

Ori represents the shareholder of Summit Properties in the US. He oversees operations across all asset classes and leads portfolio strategy, portfolio and property acquisitions, sales, and redevelopment initiatives.

Ori works closely with the CEO and US management to strengthen performance in marketing, leasing, and property management. Ori is a CPA with Big Four experience.

Itay Barlev, our CFO, joined Summit Properties in 2014 as a certified public accountant (CPA). His extensive background includes reporting, budgeting, real estate transactions, financing and refinancing, and internal control procedures.

Prior to his role at Summit, Itay served as the director of the Fishman Group in Berlin for eight years and gained experience as a financial advisor at KPMG for four years. He holds a B.A. in Economics & Accounting (CPA) and an M.A. in Legal Studies.

Maya Miteva is CEO of Deutsche Real Estate AG and a supervisory board member of SCOUT24 SE. She also serves as a Senior Advisor to SUMMIT Properties USA, contributing deep expertise in M&A and operational efficiency. She advises on strategic transactions and use of advanced technologies such as AI to streamline operations and enhance portfolio performance.

In 2022, she was appointed as the CEO of Deutsche Real Estate AG, Summit Group's subsidiary in Germany. Maya's previous roles include serving as an M&A advisor at Lazard, co-founding Kuna (now Evercore), heading transactions at Arminius Group, being Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance & Transactions at GAGFAH Group (now Vonovia), and acting as CFO at Centerscape Group.
